Shelby Jackson Bio
Shelby JacksonShelby was introduced to TOETAG PICTURES in 2002, while working together on a haunted attraction in Pittsburgh. Shortly after meeting, her first collaboration with TOETAG was as a still photographer. The shoot was for an August Underground article that appeared in Rue Morgue Magazine. That night, soon as Vogel and crew showed up at Shelby’s house for the photo shoot, she was shown the original August Underground. As the nihilistic images of torture filled the screen, Shelby chuckled with a mix of pleasure and fear, while thinking, “This is the most realistic thing I’ve ever seen. I just hope it is fake or I might be in trouble.”

Shelby obviously made it through that fateful night with her life. But her already demented mind was possessed with the desire to captivate, terrorize and disgust horror fans everywhere. Since then she has been slain in both August Underground’s MORDUM and Murder-Set-Pieces. Shelby continues to spread the sickness as the head of TOETAG Public Relations, as well as through her photography, costume design, writing, production design and acting. As part of TOETAG, Shelby is able to release the demons within while bringing forth a new breed of horror.
